One year of working out

It’s been a whole year since I started working out with a personal trainer. I started strength training with a simple goal: handle stress and reduce anxiety. Some of it came from work, while some of it came from my fear of death. The whole “get fit” thing was just a bonus. As the weeks went by, I started to enjoy the workouts more and more. I found myself progressively lifting heavier and seeing my muscles grow. It is now like a game!

I’m truly amazed at how much I’ve changed in just a year. The stats speak for themselves:

My anxiety and stress levels have dropped as well, and I feel stronger and happier than before. On to the next year of training!

Funny note – I always thought I was 172cm tall. At some point, they measured my height at the gym, and turns out, I’m actually 174cm. So, I didn’t just come to gain muscle; I ended up gaining height too!
